Right now, Otsego County has no viable local newspaper. Since the sale (and ultimate down-grading) of the award-winning Gaylord Herald Times, Otsego County has seen a number of things happen which likely would never have happened in the presence of a vigilant local newspaper. This is an attempt by a small group of concerned citizens to provide information that would normally be provided by a good community newspaper.
